DMC 422 to J&P Coats: Thread Conversion

J&P Coats 5350 is a close match for DMC 422 Light Hazelnut Brown. At this lighter value in the hazelnut family, the match is generally reliable for most cross-stitch applications. The golden-tan quality that makes 422 useful in bird plumage highlights and basket weave lit-face applications is reasonably well-preserved in the J&P Coats version.
