J&P Coats 7167 is a close match for Light Turquoise. The specific warmth of DMC 598’s blue-green balance — that swimming-pool quality of warm water with sunlight penetrating to a sandy bottom — requires a precise mix of green and blue at a pale value, and some drift toward either pure blue or sea-green is possible in the J&P Coats version. If it drifts toward pure blue, the warmth is lost and the color reads as ordinary light blue. If it drifts toward sea-green, the blue-forward turquoise identity is compromised.
