DMC 762 to Sullivans: Thread Conversion

Sullivans 45193 is a close match for DMC 762 Very Light Pearl Gray. For snow and ice scene backgrounds where 762 provides the shadow-side dimensionality of snowdrifts and icicles — where the shadow areas need just enough gray to create form without making the snow look muddy or colored — Sullivans 45193 should work adequately at design viewing distances. The amount of gray visible in finished work is relatively small, and a slight warm or cool drift in the shadow color is less perceptible at normal viewing distances in landscape snow scenes than in close-up animal portraits where the white-shadow relationship is evaluated carefully.
