DMC 777 to Anchor: Thread Conversion

Anchor 65 is a close match for DMC 777 Very Dark Raspberry. The deep berry-red character with its blue-shifted warmth is represented adequately in the Anchor equivalent for the shadow fills, Victorian palette work, and deep berry accent applications where 777 most commonly appears. As with all very dark saturated colors, testing under natural daylight is recommended before beginning — deep berry shades can appear nearly identical to dark wine or dark red under some artificial light sources, and confirming the blue-shift that defines the raspberry character requires good light.
