Candamar 6003 to DMC: Thread Conversion

About This Conversion

Candamar is a cross-stitch kit brand that uses its own thread numbering system. If you've run out of Candamar 6003 (vy dk baby blue) from your kit, or if the thread has become tangled or damaged, you can purchase DMC 312 as a replacement. DMC embroidery floss is the most widely available thread brand and can be found at most craft stores and online retailers.

Note that kit thread conversions are approximate. The replacement DMC thread will be very close in color but may not be an identical match to the original kit thread. For best results, compare the DMC thread to your remaining kit threads under natural daylight before stitching.
