DMC 318 to Anchor: Thread Conversion

Anchor 235 is a close match for DMC 318 Light Steel Gray. The Anchor version holds the cool, clean temperature character that defines 318's utility for metal, ice, and cool-shadow applications. As with all light-value gray substitutions, testing in your working light before beginning is worthwhile — at the lighter end of the gray spectrum, subtle temperature shifts between brands become more visible than they would be in mid-dark colors. For standalone Anchor projects, 235 is the reliable working substitute. For mixed-brand projects, compare under natural daylight before using Anchor 235 adjacent to DMC grays in the same design area.
