Testing Cosmo 143 on your actual project fabric in your working light, and placing it alongside the other warm-palette threads in your design, is the essential check before using it in any gradient-sensitive application. If it reads as warm pale yellow (correct), it will integrate without issue; if it reads as slightly cool or green-tinged, it is not the right substitute for 744’s warm-yellow character.
